For your account and this website, we are the controller. For the e-mails in the mailbox you connect, you are the controller and we process them on your behalf, under our data processing agreement.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. Fonts are served from this site. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't use it to identify you.
What we process for the service
- Your account: name, e-mail address, business details and login data.
- Mailbox access: the app password you give us, stored encrypted. Only the background service that reads your mailbox can decrypt it.
- E-mail content from the mailbox you connect, and the drafts we write.
- Your knowledge base: website text, files and notes you add.
- Billing: invoices and payment status.
Why
- To provide the service you signed up for (contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To keep accounting records (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)).
We don't sell data, don't show ads and don't use your e-mails to train AI models.
Where your data is
Your data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). While we finish our infrastructure, processing may temporarily run in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection (adequacy decision).

How long we keep it
- E-mail text: 90 days by default. You can shorten this in the settings.
- Your account and knowledge base: until you delete them. One button deletes everything, for good.
- Invoices: as long as accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, and to restrict or object to how we use it. Write to contact@noctiv.io; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv) or the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this notice, we update the date at the top and tell customers by e-mail before the change applies.
